Organic Coffee

This is no Ordinary Fairtrade Organic Coffee.

2% of the Gross Turnover of sales from Puro coffee buys and conserves rainforest around the world in association with the World Land Trust.

So Far:

12 Puro Rainforest Reserves created within 8 coffee producing countries.

We have now saved 67,412 acres of Rainforest this equals 18.97square meters per kilo of coffee sold. (Averaged out over 15 years) 272,806,685 square metres to end 2018.

Typically, according to the WLT (World Land Trust) web site an acre of rainforest contains up to 86 different species of tree, with the amphibians, birds, insects and mammals that depend on them.

Two of these species were previously undiscovered and were found in a Puro reserve in Peru. A frog and an Orchid which are now both named after Puro Coffee. The frog which is Pristimantis Puruscafeum & the Orchid Teagueia Puroana, these were named after Puro in recognition of their work.
